Running every FIRST Sunday morning of the month weather permitting
Track site: Bangerang Park, Corowa NSW (near Albury)

There is no running on the first weekend in February as the Market is on the previous weekend

Special Weekend running on the Australia Day weekend 24-25 January in conjunction with the Federation Market

Running is in conjunction with a public market in the park

Bulla Hill is having a 30th birthday celebration  on the 13th of march. Also I thought that was the date of Box Hill all Comers day.

So we have DVR's 13 hour run on the 7th then the week after that Tulla's 30th birtday at Bulla and the week after that we have Box hill all comers thats a great month.

DVR will host our October Run on the 23rd & 24th ofOctober this year.

We have no offiial name, but I think it would be something like:

"DVR's October Coroborree"

I would say it would be the weekend, ie Sat & Sun runnning. Hopefully with a BBQ sat night.

More details to follow............ when they are decided.

Our club (Corowa Apex Club) is running on the long weekend in April on the Good Friday for a Teddy Bears Picnic, starting at 3pm til dark:

$5 for unlimited train ride's
$2 per ride for jumping castle, merry go round, and ferris wheel
FREE face painting also.
Bring along your teddy bear to win prizes!
Food and Drink available

All money rasied on this event is going to our local hospital.

We also have Sunday running for the Easter Craft Market from about 9.30am til lunch (about 12noon-1pm) depending on how busy it is.

The first day of every month a place on Rowans RD, Moorabbin, Melbourne has miniature diesel trains and steam trains that run on a little line. Its a good place for people 3-8 years old. Its also good to see the trains operate Very Happy

Dennis was there with his great loco as always and it performed very well, also Y121 was there as well as many other great locos and soon I will upload some of the 200 Shocked  pictures I took on the day

OCTOBER 2005 long weekend "TRAINFEST IN CASINO"

The Casino Miniature Railway (5”&71/4”) issues an invitation to all to this great event. Big trains meet little trains! A feature of this years event is an HO model of old Casino! The track to the Old Casino station will be in be in festival mode hauling loads of visitors along the 2KM miniature branch line to our “Junction” with the standard gauge at Old Casino and the preserved station. Special night runs on our track and accommodation at the station or in our MAL sleeping car will be available to visiting train owners. Many enthusiasts will take the opportunity to for an extended Labour Day weekend extravaganza exploring the far North Coast and Brisbane traveling behind 3801 to Casino.

Sydney - Taree - Casino - Brisbane - Casino - Taree - Sydney. Thursday the 29th Sept to Tues 4th October 2005.

Overnight Casino.                                                       Saturday - enjoy a coach tour of Casino and surrounds. Overnight Casino.                              Sunday - 4908 from Casino to Brisbane and return. Overnight Casino.                                Monday - 3801 from Casino to Taree. Overnight at Taree.                                                  Tuesday - 3801 from Taree to Sydney.
On Saturday and Sunday 3801 will be operating shuttles for the locals from Casino to Rappville and Kyogle.

At Moorabbin (Steam Locomotive Society of Victoria), we have a run from 10 - 2 this Sunday in support of the area Neighbourhood Watch. There are a number of other displays and entertainments in addition to our run.
