    NOT Great news out of the Salt Ash fire as extreme and very turbulate winds are grounding the Water Bombing Aircraft and Helicopters for long periods.

    These winds are causing Spot fires well infront of the Actual Firefront....Our teams are doing it bloody tough in these trying conditions.
    Listen to ABC Local radio for updates and warnings.

    If it's like here in Victoria, the aircraft will just be doing asset protection. Houses and the like.

    Edit: Fires that spot well ahead of the fire front are really dangerous....as the Californians have found out.
