We are seeking to hire a qualified Locomotive Driver on a full time basis for our Bulk NSW business, based at our Parkes Depot. The role reports into the Superintendent Linehaul and will be working on a 24/7 roster.
The primary objective of a Locomotive Driver is to prepare, manage and operate locomotives and trains safely in accordance with their level of competency, safe working qualifications and established Pacific National’s operational procedures and agreements, in order to meet customer and operational requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will be looking to build a long-term career within the rail and transport industry and will have a genuine interest in adding value and helping our business to grow. A strong focus on customer service is a must and prior experience in train shunting and marshalling is highly desirable. You will have a passion for safety and be vigilant of your own safety and the safety of others in a fast paced environment. Previous experience in logistics or the rail industry is preferred, as is experience with shift work.
