A very rudimentary camping site about 90 minutes drive out the Toodyay rd. Though the road is gravel, access to most two wheel drive vehicles should be fine.
Park in the lower half of the camp site and walk about 50m north though light scrub to a ridge over looking the track. There's a couple of good large rocks you can sit on that over look the track.
Dual gauge east - west main line. Hourly traffic of all sorts in our experience.
Medium bush land. On a ridge over looking the railway and Avon river
Take the Toodyay rd East from Midland.
Continue though Gidgegannup.
Turn left on to Morangup rd.
Turn left on to Forty One Mile Rd (Avon Valley Pk entrance well sign posted).
There is a little hut with a money box for camping fees. But it was vandalized the last two times we've been there so we consider the park free.
Continue down Forty One Mile Rd, the camp site is about 15-20mintes careful drive.
