A1506 was fitted with Dynamic Brakes for the Jarrahdale bauxite line. A1513 and A1514 were fitted with Dynamic Brakes for the Westmine iron ore branch at Koolanooka taking ore to Geraldton. These locos were often seen hauling "The Mullewa" when transferring to and from the Workshops.
Towards the end of their lives in Western Australia, the class were sold to various other railway operators, both within Australia and overseas.
