Ferrovie Appulo Lucane (FAL), based in Bari (IT), has selected Stadler Rail for the delivery of four 3-car DMUs for its 950 mm gauge network. Four more trains are optional. All 3-car trainsets will cost around 46 million euro (ex VAT).
In 2012-2014 Stadler Rail also delivered narrow gauge trains to FAL. The fleet comprises 2-car DMUs (type SB, 4/8) and 3-car DMUs (type ST, 4/12) built by the Swiss manufacturer
