Train services resumed as normal on the V/Line Bendigo line this morning.
It comes after an empty train derailed while shunting into the Bendigo stabling yards on Thursday evening.
The train was returned to the tracks last night.
A number of Bendigo line services were yesterday affected by the operational incident.
A train that derailed at Bendigo station on Thursday evening has been returned to the tracks.
Services are expected to return to the normal on Saturday with the V/Line website saying service alterations will be in place until 3am, Saturday morning.
Crews remain onsite repairing damage to the tracks caused by the derailment.
VLine crews are working to return the derailed train to the tracks at Bendigo.
A crane has been attached to the first carriage and os being prepared to be moved.
The first carriage has been lifted back on the tracks.
