A CFMEU organiser was arrested this morning for allegedly trespassing on the Regional Rail Link project.
The Herald Sun understands that Joe Myles was taken away in a police van at 11am.
It is claimed he had turned up on the site, which has mainly Australian Workers’ Union members, to make a complaint.
Police were called when he allegedly refused to leave.
A Victoria Police spokeswoman confirmed a 33-year-old Preston man was arrested this morning at McNab Avenue in Footscray.
The man was charged on summons with trespass.
