A train from Sydenham to Bondi Junction was delayed yesterday after it struck a pram on the tracks.
It is believed there was a baby in the pram but the child was unhurt. It is not clear whether the baby was removed from the pram before or after it was struck by the train.
A Sydney Trains spokeswoman said "Both mother and child were safely removed from the corridor within a minute unharmed and emergency services attended the scene.’’
