Reason for service changes
Due to planned industrial action, no trams will run between 10am and 2pm. Services are expected to be significantly disrupted from 10am until approximately 3.30pm as the normal timetable is restored.
If you are travelling on a tram at 10am, drivers will request passengers get off at the next stop. This will enable trams to continue to the depot.
Passengers are encouraged to defer all non-essential travel and consider alternative modes of transport during this period. Metropolitan trains, buses and V/Line trains will run as normal, however these services may be busier than usual.
A replacement bus service will run, however this will be very limited and will not service the whole tram network. Significant delays are expected for passengers using this service.

Tram replacement bus stops
Tram replacement buses are low-floor depending on availability, and will service all existing kerbside and safety zone tram stops along the bus route. At tram platform stops, buses will stop at the footpath nearby where possible. Please hail the bus when it is approaching. While on board, ensure you press the button for your stop with enough time to notify the driver.
