Rail passengers are being urged by Network Rail to check before travelling this Early May Bank Holiday as work takes place in West Yorkshire which will mean changes to trains.
On Sunday, 10th May, engineers will carry out work to replace the track between Wakefield Westgate and Leeds.
The aim of this work to create a more reliable railway, which is essential for passengers who can not work from home.
This upgrade also means that food and medical supplies can be transported to supermarkets and hospitals.

For the work to be carried out, the line between Wakefield Westgate and Leeds via Outwood will be closed on Sunday 10th May 2020.
