Steam locomotive 35028 Clan Line will be back in steam on the mainline and will be in London and Exeter on Saturday 10th August 2019.
The Merchant Navy locomotive is on a special railtour. 35028 is hauling ‘The Atlantic Coast Express’ railtour on Saturday.
The steam locomotive will depart London Waterloo at approximately 07:52.
The railtour will then leave London Waterloo, bound for Exeter St Davids, where it will pass through Clapham Junction (08:03), Wimbledon (08:07), Woking (08:24), Basingstoke (09:03), Andover (09:32), Salisbury (09:51), Gillingham (10:43), Templecombe (11:03), Yeovil Junction (11:19), Axminster (12:24), Honiton (12:42), Pinhoe (13:17), Exeter Central (13:25) and Exeter St Davids at 13:33..
The return journey will see 35028 depart Exeter at 15:50, the train will pass through Tiverton Parkway (16:10), Taunton (16:25), Bristol Temple Meads (17:15), Bath Spa (18:19), Westbury (18:46), Salisbury (19:23), Basingstoke (20:45), Woking (21:15), Clapham Junction (21:41) and London Waterloo at 21:48.
