The Great Central Railway has announced that LNER ‘K1’ No. 62005 will be visiting them in 2020.
The K1 locomotive is visiting the Great Central Railway for its Winter Steam Gala.
The Winter Steam Gala is going to be held on the weekend of 24th to 26th January 2020 and features home fleet locomotives like 92214 Leicester City, 46521, 45305 and more!
62005 visits the Great Central Railway thanks to the North Eastern Locomotive Preservation Group.
What do you think of this? Let us know in the comments below!
62005 is normally found in the Scottish Highlands, helping to haul The Jacobite train services for West Coast Railways along with Riley Black 5s. So this is an excellent opportunity to have a ride behind this locomotive whilst it is south of the border!
