Yesterday we had to grab a couple things from the store before 11 AM (zoom cooking class), which made for the perfect timing to catch 931.

Today was an interesting one on the D&H North End. I wasn’t able to catch all the action, but I got a few trains, as documented below.

On Tuesday, February 23rd, I heard that 252 was running a few hours late, and that D11 would be running up to the mill. This sounded interesting, as 252 had to work Bluff, so D11 would have to somehow get around them on the main.

Wow, I’ve made 500 posts. Seriously, do you read all of them? Let me know in the comments, and it won’t be long before we’re at 1000… -Harrison

Today I heard that 252 was just getting into Rouses Point at 8:30, and that D11 would be heading up to the mill. I found this interesting, as 252 had to work Bluff, so a bit of shuffling would be required to get them past each other. We headed out to South Junction Road just in time to barely catch D11.

Deke's Note: Some of you might be thinking, "Has Deke finally lost his mind?" Perhaps it was lost long ago, but I keep on because I cannot believe this is how things should be.

Deke's Note: I have wrestled with this series for a few months now, my mind fighting itself for the most effective way to present it. Instead of using some set form of outline (procrastination) I have decided to just go for it (decisiveness), see what comes out. You never know what my mind will write.

Today, I had hardly opened my eyes when I heard the dispatcher telling D11 that 253 was still in Whitehall, and 650 was getting called in Montreal at 10:40 that morning. Although I had to work in the morning, I kept those trains in the back of my mind.

This morning I heard that 252 was something “working Bluff”, although I didn’t catch the whole transmission.
